Eilidh Weir is a multidisciplinary artist and workshop leader who has a keen eye on reducing waste and promoting sustainability.
Recent textile work combines these foundations with her love of composting, food growing, and supporting biodiversity.
Eilidh teaches textile workshops from mending to quilting and many things in between and always centre reuse of fabrics and and other materials. Each workshop encourages attendees to rethink what is truly rubbish and how this reframing might affect our consumption.

Past
Eilidh studied Visual Communication - illustration at Glasgow School of Art achieving a first class honours degree in 2007.
They ran a slow fashion brand called All That is Braw between 2013 and 2023 which centred on gender and size inclusive sleepwear, made to order with a repair service for the life of all garments.
Eilidh’s refusal to waste fabric offcuts from this business were the catalyst in their creative practice moving from paper to fabric.
Eilidh designed tutorials for Mollie Makes magazine.
Between 2019 and 2022 Eilidh co ran family business Buchlyvie Pottery Shop, bringing their love of fresh bright design and common plants to ceramics. Hand painting each piece of porcelain for sale online and their shop.
