Cinnabar moths lay their eggs on ragwort as it is the only plant their caterpillars can eat. This beautiful plant is is often sprayed with weedkiller, pulled out and is slowly being eradicated as it can be dangerous to livestock. Yet it is an essential native wild plant for our ecosystem and for the cinnabar moth's survival.

Naturally dyed cotton, linen and cotton velvet
Recycled fleece batting
Cotton + linen back
Machine pieced base, hand appliqued.
Hand quilted and bound.
Cotton loops on back for hanging.
Embroidered title and signature on reverse
Care:
Best displayed out of direct sunlight as fabric may fade.
